We always look for elegance and simplicity so this is what we got at Erika and Andrew´s wedding.
After 10 years relationship they decide to celebrate their special day in Mexico in a intimate way with family and friends coming from Australia and America.
The wedding dress is from an australian designer Zimmermann, that actually wasn’t a bridal gown. Erika was looking for something light and breezy and at the sametime thinking about honoring Andrew´s Australian heritage.
The engagement ring and wedding band are family heirlooms that are very precious to the couple as it is the ring that her dad proposed to her mom and grandmother´s wedding band from 1920. Andrew’s wedding band was purchased from gold coast, Australia jewelry.
Erika also wore a matching bracelet and earring where the stones used to create these pieces were sourced from necklaces, bracelets and earrings that belonged to different women in the wedding couple families made by a friend.
They had Erika`s brother officiate the wedding which was very special. It made the ceremony so comfortable and authentic (and funny!) having someone who knows you so well.
They are a very laid back couple so they were looking for a boho-beachy style. After suggesting a few locations they decide for Tulum right in front of the Beach where they celebrate with 40 guests with a Mexican Buffet on the beach without any special seating but with a lounge area to enjoy next to the dance floor.
